30.4.2014 – CZECH NEWS CENTER HOLDING a. s. has completed the acquisition of Ringier Axel Springer CZ a.s.
Ringier Axel Springer CZ a.s. and Ringier Axel Springer Print CZ a.s. change their names. This change will be effective after the registration in the Commercial Register.

At the beginning of 2010 media concerns Ringier AG and Axel Springer AG agreed on merging their business activities in the Czech Republic, Poland, Serbia, Slovakia and Hungary. As at 1st July 2010 the new joint-venture Ringier Axel Springer Media AG based in Switzerland was incorporated.
